wow if you use a sensible dread fit (t2 throwaway) and it's plat insured you make half a bill when it pops
fun ~and~ profit!

we'll compensate you generously, unless you actually lose something, then you're SOL

when faced with a minor loss, humans will shrug it off quickly and get back to life
when faced with a major loss, forces of great rationalization are mobilized in order to trivialize or put the loss in a better frame to allow a return to normal functioning and avoid clinical depression
it should come as no surprise that after losing the most caps in one battle in the history of the game, bobbits have a variety of strong and vehement rationalizations taking up 8 pages
don't argue with them about it, just shrug and laugh vOv

If you need to explain everyone over and over why it was such a devastating blow, it can't be that bad really, can it?
If it would be such a big deal, no explanations at all would be necessary. Just sayin'....
my first posts itt are mockery vOv
that last one was aimed at the victors who don't understand why IT is flailing around going LALALALALALA about their dead capfleet, not at IT
this is an interest of mine, and it commonly comes up in a eve-online, a spaceship game, how people cope with loss - and similarly, the utter incomprehension of those on the other side regarding that coping. happens in p much every situation itg.
